Несмотря на то, что в наши дни Saleen является полноценным автопроизводителем и работает с разными марками, история фирмы началась именно с доработок Ford Mustang. У спорткаров серьёзно улучшали управляемость, они добивались успехов в гонках Sports Car Club of America и этим принесли славу компании.
Новая версия SA 35 выдержана в том же ключе. Машина получила подвеску Racecraft R Code, новую турбину и выхлопную систему, что позволило увеличить отдачу мотора с 460 до 780 л.с.
Спорткар получит чёрный кузов с жёлтыми и белыми элементами, новые передние крылья, капот, особый аэродинамический обвес и шильдики с указанием спецверсии. В салоне, помимо фирменных аксессуаров, появятся новые спортивные сиденья.
Тираж Saleen Ford 35th Anniversary Edition Mustang составит всего 10 экземпляров. Стоимость модели пока не названа.
